About us...

Suffolk Tennis Courts is a family run business based in Suffolk, East Anglia. The company is managed and owned by Kristian and Wendy Thorpe who have been working in the Tennis Court Construction and Maintenance industry in excess of thirty years. Having previously worked as a sub-contractor to many of the well-known reputable and larger companies we have been exposed to all aspects of the industry.

Tennis is played worldwide and within the UK is becoming ever more popular within schools and clubs but even more so within the grounds of your own home. We are more than happy to accommodate schools, clubs and councils etc., specialising in the domestic market where being a family business with fewer overheads we can be competitive without jeopardising quality, and this is also where your court can be individual to your tastes and needs.

Kristian Thorpe

Hands on Director with over 34 years’ experience in the industry. Kris is fully active in all our build and maintenance projects as well as being on the road meeting new clients.

Wendy Thorpe

Office based Director with a background in accounts and now over 15 years-experience in running the company alongside Kris.

Joshua Thorpe

Josh has been a full time employee of the family business since September 2020. Starting out as an apprentice he now specialises in and is competent in all aspects of maintenance work.
